MaineGeneral has closed its outpatient services Wednesday due to a reported “credible threat.”
Those who have appointments at the 5 Central Maine Crossing location are being contacted directly, according to an announcement posted to MaineGeneral’s Facebook page.
Anyone who needs to access Express Care, lab or imaging services is asked to visit the Augusta or Waterville locations.
The Gardiner facility is working closely with the Maine State Police, and as of 1:20 p.m., reported that the threat to the facility had been contained.
The Gardiner location will reopen tomorrow.
