Police on Thursday gave a tentative identification of the victim of a fatal shooting in Lincoln on Wednesday.

After an autopsy at the state medical examiner’s office, the man’s death was ruled a homicide and the cause of death, not previously named by police, was gunshot wounds.

“The investigation has led investigators to believe that the decedent is 51-year-old Jason Nadeau of Lincoln,” Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a news release.

Moss said Maine State Police have “identified all involved parties, and no arrests have been made at this time.”

Lincoln police were called to a house at 614 Mohawk Road at about 9:25 a.m. Wednesday morning after receiving a report of a shooting, Moss said previously.

At the house, the officers found one deceased person, now identified as Nadeau.
