Singer-songwriters Melissa Etheridge and the Indigo Girls are set for a summer 2025 concert on the Bangor waterfront.

1990s rock icon Melissa Etheridge and beloved acoustic duo the Indigo Girls are set for a Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on Dec. 12.

Both acts are no strangers to Maine, having played a double bill just last summer at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts in Sidney. Etheridge, best known for her smash 1990s albums “Yes I Am” and “Your Little Secret,” also played on the Bangor waterfront in 2011. The Indigo Girls have been a beloved folk rock act for decades, though they received renewed attention with their song “Closer to Fine” prominently featured in the movie “Barbie.”

Previously announced 2025 concerts in Bangor include Avril Lavigne on May 25, comedian Matt Rife on July 12, the Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional on Aug. 5, and Papa Roach and Rise Against on Sept. 20. More concerts will be announced in the coming weeks.
