A cement truck rolled over and spilled its load Friday afternoon, blocking a lane of traffic at the intersection of routes 1 and 15 in Orland for several hours.
The driver was unhurt in the accident, according to a Facebook post by the Orland Fire Department.
The truck rolled onto the shoulder of Route 15 as it was nearing the intersection at around noon. As of 1:30 p.m., a wrecker crew was working to get the truck upright so it could be towed away.
Northbound traffic on Route 15 was re-routed through the parking lot of a Big Apple convenience store at the intersection, while traffic turning off Route 1 to head south on Route 15 had to slow down but was not detoured. Traffic on Route 1 was unaffected.
The scene was cleared at 4:15 p.m., according to the Orland Fire Department.
Information about what caused the cement truck to roll over was not immediately available.
