A 42-year-old man died early Friday morning after he drove off the road and hit a tree in Deer Isle.
The crash on Sunset Road was reported at just after 2:30 a.m., the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Police believe William Bulger, of Deer Isle, was driving north when his Toyota Tacoma left the road, rolled and hit a tree.
Bulger died from his injuries. Police believe speed and alcohol may have been contributing factors in the crash.
