A downtown Belfast game shop will be closing its doors on Feb. 15.

Ray Estabrook, the co-owner of All About Games along with his wife Patricia, announced in early January that they were planning to retire after opening their shop in 1996 and moving to their current location at 78 Main St. the following year.

On Thursday, Estabrook said on Facebook that they are closing the store, which sells board games and puzzles.

“After 28 ½ years of wonderful retailing in Belfast, it’s time for us to call it a day,” Estabrook said. “Thank you for being our loyal customers.”

The shop is now offering a retirement sale until its last day in business.

Sasha Ray previously covered Waldo County for the BDN.
