A plan is in place to replace the former Skowhegan Drive-In.
The lot is being transformed into a mobile home and RV park.
The drive-in closed in September 2023 after 70 years in operation.
A&L Properties is buying the lot on Route 201.
It got the go-ahead Tuesday night to move forward with the plan.
It includes 36 lots for mobile homes and six lots for RVs.
There are still a handful of drive-ins in Maine, so if you want to watch a movie on the big screen from your car, you still have a chance.
