I have a question for Sen. Susan Collins. How do President Donald Trump (and Elon Musk) have the authority to freeze funding of appropriations that were voted on by Congress?
Why has Collins not more forcefully challenged this breach of our U.S. Constitution’s system of checks and balances? Isn’t she and other members of her party violating the oath to the Constitution they pledged to protect, preserve and defend?
Sen. Collins, please explain this to your constituents; we deserve an answer.
