Last week’s article on Canadian tourists not visiting Calais and the Calais citizens’ economic concern, made me chuckle. Almost 60 percent of Calais voters cast their ballot for Donald Trump and what I see as his myopic vision of Calais’ relationship with Canada, indeed the world.

Complaining isn’t in the playbook. Elections have consequences. Calais got the government for which it voted.

Oh, and check your 401(k) account too.
