A popular Acadia National Park trail is closed until further notice.
That will allow crews to complete restoration work on a stretch of Hemlock Path connecting Great Meadow Loop and the Jesup Path, Acadia announced Monday.
Hemlock Path and the Jesup Path consist of two mostly level trails that wind through stands of white birch and hemlock trees and into Great Meadow.
The trails feature a wooden boardwalk with benches and a wide, gravel fire road.
Located near Sieur de Monts, it includes views of Dorr Mountain.
