Northern Light Health will close its Interventional Pain Management center on Union Street on June 30.

The Brewer-based health care system said in a statement that closing the center is necessary “due to the departure of its providers.”

Northern Light said it “remains steadfast in our commitment to delivering accurate, safe, and dependable care to all patients” and is “focused on ensuring a smooth transition and are working closely with patients to develop personalized continuity plans for their ongoing care.”

Current employees of the Interventional Pain Management office “will have the opportunity to pursue employment within other areas of Northern Light Health,” the health care system said.
