A downtown Bangor coffee and sandwich shop has been temporarily closed since last week.

A sign has been posted on the doors of The Grind House stating the business is temporarily closed since at least last Friday. The sign doesn’t give a reason for the closure and calls to the business went unanswered Wednesday.

The business on the corner of Central and Hammond streets in Bangor sells sandwiches, salads, breakfasts and coffee, among other options.

Owner Dave Reesman opened the cafe in January 2018.

The location last held Giacomo’s, an eatery and grocery.
