Part of Franklin Street in downtown Bangor will be closed to parking Friday.
There will be no parking on Franklin Street from Harlow Street to the bridge over Kenduskeag Stream starting at 6:30 a.m., according to an alert from the city.
That will allow Bangor Public Works to repair the road.
Drivers should avoid the area because there will be delays.
