Downtown Bangor’s umbrella art installation will unfurl again Friday evening.
Umbrella Sky, a collaboration between the Downtown Bangor Partnership and sponsor Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, debuted in 2023 and returned to Cross Street again last year.
Cross Street lies between Main and Columbia streets.
There will be a launch party from 5-7 p.m., according to the Downtown Bangor Partnership.
The installation debuted in Portugal in 2012, and since then, it has appeared in counties across the globe.
