Sen. Angus King is making an appearance in Portland on Thursday evening to reportedly address a confrontation that occurred at a press conference in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Sen. Alex Padilla, a California Democrat, was forcibly removed Thursday from a news conference that was being held by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, NBC reported.
King’s press appearance is slated to start around 5:15 p.m., and will be livestreamed. A livestream link will become available once the event starts.
