A computer and phone system outage at the health care system has been resolved.

The outage was caused by “unusual activity” detected within Central Maine Healthcare’s computer systems at the beginning of June.

Systems have been fully restored, Central Maine Healthcare president and CEO Steve Littleson said Tuesday afternoon.

Central Maine Healthcare had to launch a   temporary website to connect patients with services during the outage.
