A difference between fascists and Communists is that fascists sometimes win at the ballot box. Both are difficult to remove from office.

Our current chief executive — by the way, chief executive does not mean chief of Congress or chief of the Supreme Court — has indicated that the Ukraine-Russia war is not our war. My question is what potential conflicts are our concerns. China-Taiwan? North Korea-South Korea?

I believe the president could begin to end Russia’s war if he had the backbone and the intelligence to realize that despite his tough talk, he is a creampuff and that Vladimir Putin is playing him for a sucker.

I joined the Army in the ’60s and was sent to South Korea where we were welcomed with signs that said “Welcome to freedom’s frontier.”

I believe in that still and hope that this administration will honor our commitments to our allies. But I wonder.
