Dover-Foxcroft police are searching for a man they say is armed and dangerous following an incident Friday.
Ryan T. Mooreside, 36, of Dover-Foxcroft, was last seen in the area of West Main Street near an Irving gas station, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Anyone with information about Mooreside’s location is asked to contact the Piscataquis County Dispatch Center at 207-564-3304, ext. 1. Police said if you see him, do not approach and call 911.
On Friday, police issued a shelter-in-place order for the area as they searched by air and land, using dogs.
Additional personnel were brought in Friday night and Saturday to assist in the search.
