A small plane went off the runway at Portland International Jetport on Wednesday.
The plane was landing about 12:16 p.m. when it went off the runway and came to a rest approximately 300 feet away in the grass, according to Zachary Sundquist, the jetport’s assistant director.
Only one person was aboard the plane and wasn’t injured.
The runway was closed for about 25 minutes.
