An argument at a gas station in Levant on Thursday morning allegedly ended with a man spraying another person with gasoline from a pump.

The incident happened at about 8:50 a.m. at Ollie’s Market. The man allegedly fled after the argument, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office posted a photo to Facebook of the man’s red car at the gas station, and later updated the post saying they had received information identifying the man.

Police have not publicly identified the man or said if he has been found.
