A man is reportedly on the run after a crash closed a portion of Interstate 95 in Clinton.
The crash happened near mile marker 138 on the northbound side of the highway, according to Maine State Police Lt. Aaron Turcotte.
Turcotte said that troopers have closed the northbound passing lane and urged drivers to be cautious when traveling through the area.
The Clinton Police Department said that a man, who has facial injuries, fled from the scene. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and carrying a backpack.
There was a large police presence on Hinckley Road from the interstate to Bellsqueeze Road, and on Bellsqueeze Road, according to Clinton police.
No additional information was immediately released.
