A water main break near 538 Ohio St. in Bangor prompted road closures and water service disruptions Saturday.
City crews were planning to make repairs throughout the day on Ohio Street, which is closed with a detour in place, according to the Bangor Water District.
The break affected water service for addresses 536-617 Ohio St. and 17-38 Bailey St. Fire hydrant 676 is also temporarily out of service. The area was later expanded, with 17th Street being closed at Ohio.
Residents in the affected areas should expect service disruptions while crews are working, officials said.
