A central Maine building owned by a paving company was destroyed in a fire Monday evening.

The blaze at 10 Sylvester Drive in the Kennebec County town of Manchester was reported just before 7 p.m.

Firefighters found the large metal building owned by B&S Paving engulfed in flames. A vehicle and a trailer inside the building were also burned. No injuries were reported, according to the state fire marshal’s office.

Investigators from the fire marshal’s office determined that the fire was accidental, started by a malfunctioning driveway sealer machine.
