In a breathtaking act of corruption, the MAGA cartel running the executive branch has grabbed $1.776 billion of our tax dollars to pay off the Jan. 6 insurrectionists and likeminded criminals who curry favor with the Trump administration.
Where are the objections of the descendants of the patriots who fought against “taxation without representation” in 1776? Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Sons of the American Revolution (SAR): Are you asleep? Afraid of losing your nonprofit tax status if you speak against this administration that wants to take away your freedom of speech?
Where are the voices of the many descendants of members of the original Congress that wrote the Declaration of Independence and then the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Come on folks, speak up!
What we have now in Congress is a cowardly perversion of what the original framers intended. I believe it’s time to throw the enablers of the corrupt plutocracy out of office, and certainly not elect any more of them. We can do this, if we all vote.
