School’s not out for the summer yet.

That was most certainly the case for a young deer who broke into Mount Lebanon Elementary School about 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Lebanon (New Hampshire) Police Department.

The deer broke through a door’s glass window and proceeded to roam the halls, quite possibly in search of the three R’s.

But its quest for an education came to an end when the deer was confined to a staff room, where game wardens later safely removed the animal and returned it to the wild.

Whether the deer can pass on some new-found knowledge to its fellow ruminants remains to be seen.
