Over the years, both as a pastor in Midcoast Maine and as a Bible college professor, I have had the opportunity to speak with many young people, families, and working Mainers about the direction of our state and the kind of leadership we need. Those conversations have ultimately led me to support Garrett Mason for governor.
I support Garrett because of his character, his heart for Maine, and his commitment to the values that matter most. Garrett understands that true leadership is not about chasing headlines, yelling into the microphone, or building a personal brand.
I believe that, to Garrett, leadership is defined by service, responsibility, and standing firm in your principles, even when it is difficult. As a husband, father, businessman, and proven conservative leader, he has a unique set of experiences that allows him to understand the challenges facing Maine families and the importance of protecting the foundations that hold our communities together.
What I see in Garrett is that his faith, his values, and his concern for people are genuine. He cares deeply about the future of our state and about the next generation that will inherit it.
Maine needs leadership grounded in conviction, integrity, and common sense.
I believe Garrett brings that type of leadership, and I hope others will join me in voting for him.
