An Exeter man allegedly was in illegal possession of a gun and drugs in Bangor this week.
Christopher Reynolds Jr., 22, has been charged with aggravated drug trafficking and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to Katy England, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
Police came across Reynolds, who had an active warrant for his arrest, on Essex Street about 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, England said Wednesday.
During a search, police found Reynolds allegedly in possession of a gun, drugs, drug possession and cash.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where he remained mid-day Tuesday.
