I think Democrats need to take a lesson from Republicans if they ever hope to win. I’ve never heard a Republican go on national television and say that Donald Trump could not win, despite all the negative information that came out about him.
I was infuriated earlier this month when some national Democrats decided that Graham Platner could no longer win in Maine because he did something [sexting] most teenagers do regularly. He hadn’t been convicted of a felony or appeared in the Epstein files, but rather than double down on supporting Platner they decided the sky was falling.
Graham Platner didn’t have to run for office. If we want good people to run as Democrats, we need to start supporting them.
