An Orrington man allegedly was speeding on a motorcycle in Brewer on Sunday.
James Potter, 33, has been charged with criminal speeding, carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated drug trafficking, according to the Brewer Police Department.
Potter was spotted going 77 mph in a 35 mph zone on South Main Street, Brewer police said Monday morning.
After pulling Potter over, an officer found two guns and drugs on him, according to police.
Potter was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where he remained Monday morning, according to the jail’s website.
