The recent extreme heat wave, and the sudden heavy rain, are telling us the climate is in crisis. Crazy weather, and a president who on America’s birthday told a litany of lies in a partisan rant.
This is a president who tries to spin his lost war on Iran as a win, who calls climate change a hoax, who calls people of color garbage. Worried he is losing power, he calls his critics communists.
I believe President Donald Trump is a continuing disgrace and a danger to our nation. As the late journalist Molly Ivins wrote: “I prefer someone who burns the flag and then wraps themselves up in the Constitution over someone who burns the Constitution and then wraps themselves up in the flag.”
