OWLS HEAD — The Owls Head Transportation Museum invites visitors to experience a longtime summer tradition as the Antique Truck & Tractor Show returns Saturday and Sunday, July 18–19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a weekend dedicated to the hardworking vehicles that powered farms, businesses, construction projects and communities across America.

This family-friendly event brings together an impressive collection of antique trucks, tractors, commercial vehicles, military rigs and other historic working machines for an up-close look at transportation history in action. Visitors can meet the passionate owners who preserve these vehicles, hear the stories behind them, and explore the technology that helped shape everyday life for generations.

Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy a variety of crowd-favorite activities, including the synchronized horn-blow, tractor parade, biplane rides (weather-permitting), and hands-on STEM activities both outside and inside the museum’s Science & Industry Center. The event will also feature special displays from the Gary Mahan Truck Collection, appearances on Saturday by the Thunder Valley Mower Racers and live music from Rosey Gerry & Friends. From massive work trucks to farm tractors and military vehicles, there will be plenty to see, learn, and experience for visitors of all ages. Visitors can also stop by the Museum Café, where Taco Joe’s will be serving up delicious food throughout the event.

The Antique Truck & Tractor Show is more than a display of historic vehicles; it’s an opportunity to celebrate the ingenuity, craftsmanship, and determination that kept America moving. Whether hauling goods across the country, cultivating farmland or supporting military operations, these machines played a vital role in building the nation.

Owners of antique trucks, tractors, military vehicles, commercial vehicles and other historic working transportation are encouraged to exhibit and share their vehicles with the public. Eligible exhibit vehicles, 35 years or older, receive complimentary admission for the driver and one passenger, making it easy to become part of this living history experience. Whether your vehicle spent its life on the farm, on the road, at a construction site or in military service, the event offers a welcoming opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts and museum visitors.

This event is supported by LeafFilter.
