A person died in Corinth on Thursday after a tree fell on their car during a severe storm that ripped through the area.
A branch broke free from the tree and crashed through the windshield, hitting the driver, Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton told WABI. It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Main Street.
Two children were also in the car at the time, Morton told WABI.
The driver of the car has not yet been identified.
