A Scarborough man wanted for domestic violence assault has been arrested.

Deven Trimble-Galos, 27, has been charged with domestic violence assault and domestic violence terrorizing, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety. The charges are felonies because of prior convictions.

Trimble-Galos allegedly committed the assault in Cornish about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. He fled before the arrival of state troopers, who, despite the help of sheriff’s deputies and a police dog, were unable to find him.

The next morning police tracked him down to a Baldwin home, where Trimble-Galos was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a separate domestic violence case out of Scarborough.

He was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred.
