An 85-year-old Biddeford man was critically injured after being ejected from his vehicle in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Routes 25 and 11 in Limington Friday afternoon, according to Maine State Police.

Robert Letellier was driving a 1957 Ford truck at about 4:08 p.m. when police said he failed to stop at a red light and entered the intersection, causing a crash with a Dodge pickup driven by Michael Simpson of Limington. The impact caused Simpson’s truck to roll over. Letellier’s truck then collided with a Honda Civic driven by Salma Khalifa, 26, of Saco.

Letellier, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and critically injured. Both Letellier and Simpson were transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

A crash reconstruction team is assisting with the investigation.
