The question of Graham Platner’s replacement doesn’t have to be confusing, or require a big Democratic convention. For you see, we didn’t just elect one person at our recent primary. Folks came out to choose many preferences. The whole idea of ranked-choice voting is voters have a unique and special way to express their vote for a second, third choice, etc.
So, why give the choice to delegates, when the Maine people have already spoken?
