Two mysterious fires broke out in a Standish garage less than eight hours apart this week.
The first fire at the River Meadows Drive home broke out about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, with the second starting sometime around 5 a.m. Thursday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Both fires broke out in the home’s attached garage. While damage from the first fire was limited to the garage, the second extended into a portion of the home, Moss said Thursday evening.
No one was injured.
Investigators are still working to determine how both fires started.
