A Franklin man died Friday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a car turning onto Route 182, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyeler Grey, 32, was operating a Buell motorcycle north on Route 182 toward Franklin at approximately 3:44 p.m., when Harold Moore, 28, of Mariaville, was driving a 2025 Hyundai Sonata west on Coffin Road in Hancock.
Moore began making a left-hand turn from Coffin Road onto Route 182 to travel south when the two vehicles crashed, the sheriff’s office said.
Moore and his two passengers were uninjured. Grey sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, with a crash reconstruction being conducted by Sergeant Marcus Downes.
