BANGOR — Mark your calendar for Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m. and join The Bangor Band for an evening of music, movement and community at Chapin Park!

This special family-friendly concert features an exciting collaboration with the Thomas School of Dance as young dancers bring the music to life with performances to Galop Comique, Tico-Tico, Pop and Rock Legends: Chicago and Irish Washerwoman.

The Bangor Band’s program also includes favorite selections from “Wicked” and “Moana”, a heartfelt performance of “Miller’s March” in honor of Billy Miller and the traditional concert finale, Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever”.

Whether you enjoy listening, dancing, clapping along or singing your favorite tunes, this concert promises something for everyone. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather your family and friends and enjoy a summer evening filled with music and dance in the park.

Dance, move, sing along!

As always, admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted. We look forward to sharing another wonderful evening of music with our community!

The Bangor Band has served our community since 1859, bringing musicians together in the tradition of community music. For more information about The Bangor Band, visit our website at www.bangorband.org.
