I think Chip Curry has been so good for Waldo County and Maine. I am excited to vote for his re-election this coming November!
In his time representing us in Augusta, Chip has focused on the issues that affect Waldo County.
Chip wrote the bill that finally got the fencing on the Verona Island Bridge after 19 years and multiple failed attempts. Chip got results.
On another local issue, Chip won funding to help with the live fire training exercises our first responders need to stay ready to do their jobs. The funding will also help move forward the construction of the new facility slated to be built in Belfast.
Chip has also continued to work on behalf of Mainers who live on the unbridged islands and depend on the ferry service, passing a bill just last year to evaluate the service and demonstrate how valuable it is to our friends on Maine’s islands.
He has also worked hard on the pocketbook issues we all face. Chip’s work on the Housing Committee has been instrumental in giving us tools to fight the high cost of housing. His committee recently passed a number of bills designed to help residents of manufactured home parks fight back against giant out-of-state private equity billionaires.
I could list a lot more that Chip has accomplished, but the upshot is clear to me. Chip Curry gets results for Waldo County and Maine, and he deserves to be re-elected to the state Senate.
