Update: The state fire marshal’s office said the blaze was accidental and cited two possible sources.

Drivers are being urged to avoid Route 1 in Damariscotta because of a fire.

Crews are battling a fire Friday near Hannaford and Chasse Marine, according to the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency.

It’s not yet clear what caused the fire or whether there are any injuries.
