I think Troy Jackson is the U.S. Senate candidate for working people. One of his top priorities is to pass Medicare For All, which would enable all of us to access the healthcare we need and deserve.
The first time I heard Troy speak, he talked movingly about a friend of his who had died because he had no health insurance. Most of us know someone — a small business owner, someone who is between jobs or has just started a new job, or who is balancing multiple part-time gigs to survive — who could be the next victim of our broken “healthcare” system that ties health insurance to full-time employment.
I have friends and family members who work hard but have no health insurance. It is a constant worry that eventually an emergency will come along that they will not be able to pay for, or that without regular primary care visits a serious illness will go undetected before it’s too late.
Please join me in supporting Troy Jackson, the one U.S. Senate candidate from Maine who will fight for Medicare for all.
