A Portland woman allegedly assaulted a 61-year-old with a lead pipe Friday morning.
Kassandra-Ann Warren, 26, has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct, according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
Warren allegedly assaulted the man about 8 a.m. on Cotton Street.
The victim was taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment of injuries, including a head laceration, not considered life-threatening.
She was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
