I am voting for Rick Bennett for governor. I believe a vote for Rick Bennett is a vote to move forward, not left, and not right.

In my view, partisan politics has run its course, and party bickering has become exhausting. A “we” mentality will be more effective than an “us versus them” mentality.

I believe Rick will be an experienced decision-maker and leader. Being an independent leader encourages bipartisan collaboration. I think he will have the freedom to make decisions based on what is best for Mainers, and to implement practical solutions rather than being forced to follow a party platform.

An independent leader can implement and encourage the best practices and ideologies of both parties. Having an independent leader means accountability to Mainers, not party bosses.

Why vote for Rick Bennett? Because I believe an independent leader will consider Mainers, not political parties.

I am voting for Rick Bennett so we can move forward. Will you join me?
