A man was thrown from a jet ski Thursday evening when he collided with a boat on Green Lake in Dedham.
Vernon Carmack, 27, was riding a 2025 Sea Doo jet ski about 7 p.m. when he collided with a 1999 Starcraft inboard boat operated by a 64-year-old woman, according to Game Warden Arron Rideout.
Carmack was thrown from the jet ski and was left with severe cuts to his left arm, Rideout said Friday morning.
Other boaters rushed to the scene to render first aid to Carmack, who was taken to Northern Light Health’s Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether the 64-year-old and her three passengers sustained any injuries in the collision.
The collision remains under investigation.
