English rock star Billy Idol performed at Bangor’s Maine Savings Amphitheater on Tuesday, nearly a year after his August 2025 concert there with Joan Jettt was canceled due to an illness.

Idol, who began his career in the 1970s as the lead singer of a punk rock band and later became a successful solo performer, was joined in the Queen City by Devo, known for their single “Whip It.”

Idol kicked off his “It’s A Nice Day To… Tour Again!” tour last week and is playing at NHBank Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire, on Tuesday.
