A bomb threat targeted two Kennebunk town departments Wednesday morning.
Kennebunk’s assessor’s office and fire department both received bomb threats as the town hall opened, according to the Kennebunk Police Department.
The town hall was evacuated and closed for the day.
Bomb-sniffing dogs found no explosives.
The FBI has been alerted because the threat may have come from out of state.
The investigation is ongoing.
