A North Berwick man died in a Saturday afternoon ATV crash in T1 R11.
Bruce Kennedy, 20, was riding an ATV with a friend near Wadleigh Pond in the Nahmakanta Maine Public Reserved Land about 2 p.m. when he lost control at a curve in the road and crashed, according to Mark Latti, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Kennedy, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene, Latti said Sunday night.
His body was taken to Lary Funeral Home in Dover-Foxcroft.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
