A woman allegedly entered a Brewer home without permission and helped herself to coffee Tuesday morning.
Darcelle Howard, 55, has been charged with criminal trespassing and violating her conditions of release, according to the Brewer Police Department.
A man spotted Howard allegedly entering the North Main Street home, and when police officers arrived, they found her inside drinking coffee, Brewer police said.
She was arrested without incident and taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
It’s Howard’s second trespassing arrest in less than a week.
Last Thursday morning, a man returned to his Union Street home after work to find Howard allegedly sleeping in his bed.
The man had left his door unlocked when he went to work.
After Howard’s arrest, a property manager in the city recognized her mugshot on the county jail’s website and believed she resembled a woman suspected of entering a building, taking clothes from a resident and defecating on an entryway rug on Aug. 11.
In those cases, Howard faces charges of burglary to a dwelling, criminal mischief, theft by unauthorized taking and violation of her conditions of release.
