A man allegedly robbed a Circle K in Greene of cigars and a lighter Monday night.

Jason Dubois, 44, of Greene has been charged with robbery, theft by unauthorized taking, criminal trespassing, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and criminal mischief, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.

Dubois allegedly entered the Circle K on Route 202 about 11 p.m., declared he was robbing the store and claimed to have a gun. No gun was displayed during the alleged robbery.

He then fled in a white Ford F-150 with cigars and a torch lighter, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday morning.

Deputies found Dubois and the truck at his home, where he was arrested.

Dubois was taken to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office in Auburn, where he was being held on $10,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
