A Sanford man allegedly tried to run someone over after a Monday night argument.
Zaharias Iliadis, 47, has been charged with reckless conduct and violation of conditions of release, according to the Sanford Police Department.
Iliadis got into an argument with another person near Central Park about 8:56 p.m. when he then allegedly tried to hit that person with his vehicle.
He was arrested and taken to the York County Jail in Alfred, where Iliadis was being held without bail ahead of a Wednesday arraignment.
The investigation is ongoing.
